I have a copy of 4D Insider for 2004 but it will not open a brand new v11 database, so I am assuming that v11 has its own. In MSC you have options to verify a structure or data file and repair a structure file or data file. It's everything 4D Tools used to be -- and a bit more -- with a new UI. A much crippled version of 4D Insider is now built into 4D v11+. Choose 'Find in Design' from the Edit menu.
It is certainly limited compared to what you could do with 4D Insider. But it is much much much more convenient. I missed 4D Insider when I first switched to v11.
Now I don't miss it at all. I use Find in Design almost every day that I develop in 4D. Find in Design has improved from v11 to v12 to v13.
It finds more items in more situations. So dump v11 and move to v12 or v13 if you can.
You will be much happier with Find in Designs results. You also get access to Find in Design via contextual menu on many things in Design. Right-click on a method in the Explorer and choose 'Search Method's Callers'. In the method editor right-click a method name and choose 'Search References'. Fast and convenient. Great tool for refactoring.
